Hyundai H-1 Wagon
It is learnt that Hyundai is planning to launch their luxury van, the H-1 Wagon, in the Indian market in the second half of 2012. The Hyundai H-1 Wagon will be showcased at the 2012 Auto Expo and if the response is good, the Korean giant will indeed roll out the van in India later on. We managed to catch this H-1 Wagon, bearing a TN (Tamil Nadu) registration in New Delhi recently. The H-1 Wagon is also known as the Starex in some markets. Both models though look very very similar. On the inside, the H-1 offers loads of space and practicality. It will be sold as a comfortable 8 seater with the centre seats of the 2nd and 3rd row folding down to create arm rests and cup-holders. Its price about Rs. 1200000- 1500000.
Land Rover Evoque convertible
The Evoque has been a huge turn-around for Land Rover. The stunning looks and great packaging has made it a hit all over the world. The Evoque brings a new level to the SUV segment and ever since its been on sale in India, it has garnered a lot of interest! However now Land Rover has moved up a notch with this- the Evoque Convertible Concept. Land Rover unveiled it at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show. Yes it is the world's first convertible SUV. The concept has been developed by Land Rover Design Director, Gerry McGovern and his team. Its price is expected about 50 lacs - 65 lacs.
Great Wall Haval H5
Car-maker Great Wall Motor is now looking into India and plans to set-up a plant here. Before we get going here is a introduction regarding the car-maker. Great Wall Motor Company Limited (GWM) is China’s leading SUV and pickup manufacturer. Based on the Baoding and Tianjin production bases GWM has already reached the production capability of 800,000 vehicles. At present, Great Wall Motors’ vehicles have already been exported to more than 100 countries with more than 800 overseas sales networks placed all over 80 countries all over the world. Europe, Central and South America, the Middle East, Asia, Africa, and Russia, Australia, South Africa. The interiors are spacious and have features like automatic headlamps, USB among other features. The H5 is available as a five-seater and also as a seven -seater. Pricing is crucial and GWM knows that so expect the Haval H5 to start from Rs 10-12 lakhs for the 4x2 variant to Rs 15 lakhs for the 4x4 top variant.
